Mikro Information Handling and Distribution FZE in cooperation with the Scientific Library “Otyrar” of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held an information webinar “Scientific and educational resources of the IEEE: New opportunities and prospects for development”.
Online training was aimed at students, undergraduates, teachers, researchers of technical faculties. An authorized representative of the IEEE in the Republic of Kazakhstan Assel Zharassova gave a short presentation on the largest technical electronic library in the world -IEEE Xplore, available content for the L.N. Gumilyov University content (195 magazines, 1,800 conference proceedings, 4,400 standards) and other electronic resources of IEEE which could help during distance learning.
Further, information on the navigation system and functionality of the IEEE Xplore platform was provided by our team. We showed how to find the latest information in the world of scientific and technical research, and explained the process of publishing scientific research in IEEE journals.
Doctoral students showed themselves especially actively: they asked various questions about how to effectively prepare an article for publication on IEEE Xplore, resources on the IEEE Author Center website for preparing articles on technical requirements of IEEE journals.
